Berner Cheese Introduces New Toppings for the Produce Department

Dakota, IL (May 15, 2000)- Six new aerosol toppings are available from Berner Foods. These new, convenient and easy to use products are available for your fruits and vegetables. The fruit toppings are available in the following flavors: caramel topping for apples, chocolate topping for strawberries or bananas, and cheesecake-flavored topping for any fruit you choose. The vegetable toppings are available in sour cream, Cheddar cheese for veggies, or spicy cheez for veggies.
The new products are currently available in Berner label or for your own private label. These products can be ordered in 12 count cases or in 48 count displays. All products offer extended shelf lives, and are shelf stable even after opening.
Berner Foods has long been known in the cheese industry for its natural division, which produces Alpine Lace Swiss by contract for Land O' Lakes and for its processed cheese division, which is the leading private label manufacturer for both glass jars and aerosol cheese products in the United States.
